Hakan Aldrin > House in the centre of Shanghai. Still a lot of blocks where you can see the old Shanghai. I guess though that it is just a matter of time before they will be replaced with sky scrapers.
Hakan Aldrin > All over Shanghai you see the collectors of waist on there overloaded three wheelers. It is really hard work and the pay is very low. Without these apr. 70,000 collectors I wonder how the city would look like? Check out the shoe laces. A bit of flair .... I hope she got a good pay for the load.
Hakan Aldrin > As you might have noticed I am fascinated by the different facades here in Shanghai. It seems as if half of the apartment is part of the time on the outside. Anyhow here is another one.
Hakan Aldrin > Walking around in the old parts of Shanghai you can see how people are using the street as a part of the living room and a place to do your home work. It is also starting to get really cold her in Shanghai - maybe down to plus 2 Celsius during the night and it is damp. That is also the reason why you see all these blankets hanging everywhere. To get the damp out they are placed in the warm sun.
