Hakan Aldrin > Went to Moganshan together with some other families over a long weekend. Moganshan is about three hours from Shanghai and used in the old days to be a retreat from the heat for the rich. These days you can go there for just admiring the beautiful bamboo forests and the scenic mountain views. Unfortunately it was mostly raining when we were there. Had dinner at this restaurant one night. Quite an experience.
Hakan Aldrin > This is actually something you see quite often in China - red underwear hanging out of window or, as in this case, on a rope. The reason (or at least one of the reasons) is that according to Chinese believes you shall wear red underwear during your year of the zodiac. By doing so you avoid bad luck. So, me being born in the year of the Rat should then wear red underwear this year since it is now the Year of the Rat. So do I ......
